Observations on Understanding and Tackling Climate Change With the Climate Web

Albert Einstein is supposed to have said, “If I had 1 hour to solve the world’s problems, I’d spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem, and 5 minutes thinking about the solution.”

When it comes to climate change, to say that Einstein’s advice has been ignored would be an understatement. There is very little discussion or understanding around the fact that climate change is a wicked problem, and that this has important implications for what it would take to solve the problem. We’ve completed a significant upgrade to the Climate Web’s treatment of climate change as a wicked problem, which you can access through this Index Entry.  There is a large literature available to you there, but one way to get quick insight into this issue is through this recent video by Yale University Professor Ben Cashore.
