Although carbon offsets represent just one of hundreds of topics covered by the Climate Web, the Climatographers have a particular affinity for the topic. Dr. Mark Trexler worked on the first carbon offset project in 1988, developing the first offset quantification and monitoring methodology. Since then he has worked on hundreds of offset projects, while also being widely published on carbon offset topics.

Ensuring Carbon Offset Integrity is able to synthesize much of the carbon offset thinking and literature of the last 30 years because of the thousands of hours the Climatographers have spent organizing offset literatures and resources in the Climate Web.

As a Climate Web Enabled course, we make it easy for you to dig deeper into many of topics covered in Ensuring Carbon Offset Integrity by providing direct links to additional resources inside and outside of the Climate Web. Many hundreds of hours of carbon offset knowledge curation are available to you.
